The Utica Zoo is a great place to visit while you’re in Utica! It’s celebrating its 100th anniversary and is currently located in Roscoe-Conkling Park. It’s part of a recreational complex due to the donation back in 1909 from Thomas R. Proctor. His dream was for the park to do as much for South Utica that Central Park was doing for New York City. The zoo currently has over 200 animals, far bigger than it initially started. The zoo is fun for every one of all ages! Make sure you check their calendar for special events and exhibits they currently have!
